Collaboration between Dale Evers and Art21Studio
Three decades of joint sculptural creation
For over thirty years, American sculptor Dale Evers and the Art21Studio workshop have forged a creative partnership that has given life to a remarkable variety of small, medium, and large-scale sculptures. This collaboration, marked by technical experimentation and the search for new expressive forms, has become a benchmark in contemporary sculpture.
One of the most notable achievements of this collaborative work is the monumental sculpture entitled Mega-Amorphius . This imposing seven-meter-high piece depicts a female figure spreading butterfly wings and emerging from a plant bulb, symbolizing transformation and rebirth. The figure's body was crafted from silicon bronze using the meticulous lost-wax casting process, a technique that captures even the finest details. The wings, meanwhile, were created from a fusion of materials: aluminum, stainless steel, glass, and brass, giving the work an ethereal and luminous presence that interacts with its surroundings.
The collaboration between Dale Evers and Art21Studio , spanning three decades, is a testament to a shared vision and a passion for experimenting with diverse materials and scales, cementing an artistic legacy that transcends borders.
