       The manufacture of this decorative column represents an exercise in creativity and technical skill, distinguished by the integration of seven movable elements, each of which can rotate independently when turned by hand. When these seven components are properly aligned, they form the word “Imagine,” creating a visual and conceptual play that invites viewer interaction and reflection.

       Each element has been crafted using a careful selection of materials, seeking not only aesthetic diversity but also structural solidity. All modules feature an internal steel core, which provides stability and strength. The coating of each one varies: some feature a marble finish, adding an air of sophistication and visual purity; others are covered in wood wrapped in leather, introducing a tactile and warm dimension; while others are cast in bronze, providing nobility and an elegant contrast with the other materials.

       The column is installed at the central point of a spiral staircase these being a strategic location that allows visitors to approach and appreciate the richness of textures, colors, and reflections of each element from various angles and heights. This spatial arrangement encourages a dialogue between the artwork, the architectural path, and the user experience, enhancing the interactive nature of the piece.

The design of this work is authored by Emilio Gonzalez, founder of the company Fogatec, with whom Art21Studio has collaborated on various projects over several years. Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to materialize the artistic proposal, achieving a harmonious integration of creativity, technique, and architectural space.
