       Guillermo Gómez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and is a self-taught artist whose passion for drawing began at a young age. During moments of leisure or busyness, he would often sketch portraits, doodles, and caricatures of his family and friends. While his formal education isn't in fine arts, Guillermo chose to dedicate himself fully to artistic creation as his way of life.

       His sculptural work is primarily realistic, with a focus on both the human form and the human condition. A natural storyteller with a sharp sense of humor, Guillermo is highly conversational and genuinely curious about the lives of the people he encounters. Their experiences, stories, and everyday anecdotes provide him with rich inspiration, allowing him to capture the essence of humanity in his work.

       Guillermo works with a wide range of materials, though bronze is the common thread that unites most of his pieces. He is a perfectionist, taking the time to master every aspect of the casting process and becoming a patina master of his bronzes.

Throughout the years, Guillermo has collaborated with Art21Studio on several projects, creating works in both bronze and polymers.
