Vladimir Cora is a prolific painter and sculptor who studied fine arts at the School of Painting and Sculpture in Tijuana and the National School of Painting and Sculpture “La Esmeralda” of the INBA. He has been awarded honorable mentions and various prizes throughout his artistic career, such as the Grand Prize of the Confraternity of Four Cultures at the First Ibero-American Painting Biennial of the Andean Institute of Popular Arts in Miami, honorable mention, First Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial in Oaxaca, the Plastic Arts Award of the Government of the State of Nayarit, among others.

Cora is a multifaceted artist who takes the liberty of mixing a wide variety of materials and techniques in seemingly chaotic ways. Experiments that, with the support of his experience, manage to merge correctly. In sculpture he has worked with steel, bronze, polymers and different woods, in painting he mixes acrylics with oils, collages, fabrics and papers. Vladimir has created works in bronze and polymers at Art21Studio . His work changes a lot depending on the period in which he painted it and the subject he is addressing. Although we could say that his work is mainly neo-figurative and of a Fauvist colour.
